We offer acupuncture, ear seeds, tui na, gua sha, far infrared heat, customized herbal formulas focused on thorough diagnosis and individually tailored treatments. We specialize in Shen-Hammer Pulse and Contemporary Oriental Medicine.

All services provided by 3rd & 4th year interns enrolled in a Master degree course of Acupuncture, Chinese Medicine, and Herbal Medicine. All work performed under the supervision of a licensed acupuncturist.

Group acupuncture is provided in a large room with multiple reclining chairs arranged with a little space between each one. You will have time to update the practitioner on your symptoms or fill out a questionnaire that will be reviewed with you quietly in the room. Treatments are either focused entirely on ear points or on arms, legs, and head. Needle sensitive people can request no acupuncture and only ear seeds and magnets.

This appointment can be booked by New Patients joining my clinic or by Consult Patients who are seeing other practitioners for their ongoing care. Consult Patients will be provided with a report to give to their own practitioner.

The intake and evaluation for Shen-Hammer Pulse examines multiple organ related positions along your radial artery on both wrists (when possible). Careful attention is paid to subtle sensations which can be felt in the vessel and moving through the vessel. Chinese Medicine diagnostic meaning is calculated from each sensation and the overall sense of the pulse as it presents in the individual. The diagnosis provides the framework which your symptoms and mental-emotional experiences are expressed from. This picture is extremely helpful in developing a plan to manage your case since extensive body changes take time to happen. You can feel better after the first visit, but you must grow into a new way of life in order for your symptoms and struggles to go away completely. The pulse is an objective read on how you are doing and is used to track the deep changes required to heal.
